Sim 3: Make And Upload Movies

A new Sims 3 trailer from EA shows the game's surprisingly powerful movie editor, and an example movie by Sims staffers who apparently have issues with their neighbours.

On Friday, EA has announced that the upcoming The Sims 3 strategic life simulation computer game to include a new feature to its game which enables users to create a movie using an impressive built-in movie maker. Players can record their advantageous footage, edit and upload it online. Functioning just like desktop-based softwares like Windows Movie Maker and Apple’s iMovie, users can edit their videos in an editing room using a impressive drag-and-drop interface into a timeline.

After capturing clips of your sims, enter them in a timeline to rearrange them, add transitions, effects and a soundtrack before publishing your movie to the Sims website.

Other wonderful features include transitions, zoom, black and white, noise and many more visual effects that turns your clips from a simple and plain to a more interesting one. After users are done with their masterpiece, they can upload them on popular social networking websites Facebook and YouTube to share with their friends or even other gamers who are interested in your experiences while playing the game. Of course, there will be privacy settings whereby you can control who gets to watch your clips. According to EA, the new and fun movie maker feature is the latest addition to the popular and critically acclaimed The Sims franchise which is going to launch in both PC and Mac platforms in 5th June this year.
